Friends of Conanca has partnered with high school students from in Miami, FL to launch our Students Making a Difference Program.
Kabir Chandi, Roberto Canto, and Ricardo Meneses are taking the lead on this pilot program. Roberto and Ricardo, both of Nicaraguan descent, visited Conanca and saw the desperate need for school supplies, toys, and money. Along with Kabir, they brainstormed ways they could better help the international community. They later contacted friends Max Mckenna and Santiago Montemayor, and were able to bring Friends of Conanca to Miami, to provide the kids of Conanca a greater chance at winning in the fight against cancer. Together, along with the board of Friends of Conanca, they are helping the kids of Nicaragua see a bigger and happier future. |
